Windows Live ID Sign-in Assistant - what is it?
Those who frequently work with Windows Live applications can use the Windows Live ID Sign-in Assistant to simplify the registration process in the individual programs. The exchange of files is also made easier.
The Windows Live Sign-in Assistant can do that
The Windows Live Sign-in Assistant works with all applications that are part of Windows Live Essentials 2011. These include Windows Mail or Windows Writer.
- The program includes an extension for Internet Explorer, which simplifies switching between several Live IDs.
- You no longer have to log on individually in all Windows Live applications; this is done automatically by the registration wizard for all programs.
- The Windows Live Sign-in Assistant also lets you link a Windows Live ID to your Windows 7 user account or even multiple accounts.
- This makes it easier for multiple computers linked to the same Windows Live ID to communicate with each other. This simplifies the exchange of files such as images or documents, for example. The Windows Live ID can also be used to determine who is allowed to access the files and who is not.
