Charge tablet wirelessly - how it works
If you want to charge your tablet wirelessly, this is only possible under certain conditions. We'll show you the options.
Charge tablet wirelessly: Qi charging station required
- Only a few smartphones can currently be charged wirelessly. The number of compatible devices for tablets is significantly lower.
- If a corresponding function is built into your tablet, all you need is a suitable charging station. If your tablet does not support wireless charging, you can partially retrofit the function.
- In the following practical tip, we will introduce you to three good charging stations. However, the selection is huge.
Retrofit wireless charging on your tablet
- If your tablet cannot be charged wirelessly by default, you can retrofit the function. The 2 in 1 Qi charger will help you for around 20 euros.
- The thin plastic card is connected to the USB port on the tablet and then folded down. So that the extension does not interfere, at best hide it behind a cover.
- A suitable charging station is already included in the price. If you don't use a case for your tablet, you can stick the extension to the tablet, but it doesn't look particularly nice. For the wireless charging to work, the cover must not be too thick.
