OpenOffice: Use the document as a template - how it works
With OpenOffice you can quickly and easily create document templates for letters and other commonly used files. We explain how this works in this tip.
How to use a document as a template
- Create a document in OpenOffice as usual - for example a letter.
- Choose File> Document Template> Save.
- Now you only have to enter a name for your template and confirm with "Save".
- If you later use the template, a copy of the file will be created automatically and you can continue working with it.
