Moto 360: no connection to the phone - what to do?
If your Moto 360 cannot establish a connection to the phone, this is usually due to a faulty connection. We'll show you how to solve the problem.
Moto 360 cannot connect to the smartphone
- Restart: If you press and hold the button on the Moto 360 for a few seconds, the watch will restart automatically. Also switch your Android smartphone completely off and on again.
- Update: Open the Google Play Store and check for available app updates. If updates are available, install them.
- Compatibility: Your smartphone requires at least Android version 4.3. The following Motorola website will show you directly whether your version is compatible. If this is not the case, update the smartphone.
Android smartphone and Moto 360: check connection
Follow these steps to check the connection between your smartphone and the Moto 360:
- Connection: Place the Moto 360 next to your smartphone and activate the Bluetooth connection. You can find the right option in the "Settings" app.
- Internet: Also check whether the Internet connection works on your smartphone. Open a website for the test and switch between the WLAN and the mobile data network if necessary.
- Interference fields: Interference fields can become a problem, especially if the smartwatch and smartphone are a little further apart. Do not place either device directly next to a router, large metal objects, DECT phones or microwaves.
