Mac OS stores settings in separate RAM when the operating system shuts down. By resetting and deleting this PRAM you can solve many problems.
Mac OS - delete PRAM
PRAM reset can usually solve problems with the resolution of your screen, the charger and many other errors.
- First save and close all running programs.
- Shut down your Mac and wait about 10 seconds for security so that the memory is really empty.
- Press the Command key [Befehl], the [Alt] key, and the letters [P] and [R] at the same time.
- Hold the buttons down and press the start button.
- Your Mac now starts up and seems to go out again. Do not release all buttons until the start tone sounds a second time.
If you want your Mac to start automatically at certain times, you can set up a schedule for it.
