Remove Simlock on iPhone 4, 5 and 6
Note that the removal of the simlock is chargeable. We show you the exact procedure here:
- First you need the IMEI number. You can find this out by entering the shortcut "* # 06 #" in the phone app.
- Then enter the IMEI number on this website.
- You will now receive general information on your iPhone. To find out for which provider your device has a Simlock, you have to pay a fee of around 2.50 euros.
- Look under "Initial Activation Policy Description". Here the provider is named who is responsible for the Simlock. It may take a few minutes for the information to be available.
- Next you need an unlocking service - for example gsmunlocking.eu. Here almost 50 euros are due for the unlocking.
- Simply provide your iPhone model, network operator and IMEI number.
- If the simlock has been removed successfully, download iTunes and connect your iPhone to the PC.
- You will receive a message that your iPhone is now unlocked.
