Honor View 10: insert SIM card - how it works
Thanks to DualSIM, you can insert up to two SIM cards in the Honor View 10. We reveal which SIM cards you need and how to use them correctly in your smartphone.
Honor View 10: You need these SIM cards
The Honor View 10 (V10) is a powerful smartphone at a fair price. Unusual in the price range around 300 euros: the cell phone offers a DualSIM function. So you can insert two SIM cards at the same time.
- Both SIM cards must be in nano SIM format . It is the smallest format in which almost only the chip of the SIM card can be seen.
- If you have a larger micro or standard SIM, you can contact your mobile operator. Here you can usually get a suitable nano SIM card free of charge.
- Alternatively, many newer SIM cards offer suitable break points for a nano SIM. In this case, you can simply remove the nano SIM from the standard SIM.
- Finally, you can cut the SIM card yourself. Please follow our instructions and the printed template carefully so that you do not damage your SIM card.
Insert the card and start surfing
If you have the right SIM card ready, you can insert it into Honor View 10. Please note, however, that the second SIM slot also serves as space for a microSD card. The Honor V10 can only accommodate two SIM cards or one SIM and one MicroSD card.
- The slot for both SIM cards can be found on the left side of the smartphone.
- Using the included tool, carefully press into the small hole on the smartphone side so that the holder for the SIM cards pops out. Alternatively, you can use a straightened paper clip.
- Then insert the SIM cards in the slots provided. Make sure that the chip on the SIM card is facing down.
- Finally, slide the posture back into the smartphone until it clicks into place. The Honor V10 is now ready for use.
The eSIM is even smaller and handier than the nano SIM. We will explain in a further article what exactly is behind the new eSIM card.
