Are there any secret emoticons on Whatsapp?

Unfortunately Whatsapp does not offer "secret" emoticons - but there are many addons with which you can add new smileys to Whatsapp. We present some of them.

Step 1: Download the smiley app for Android

As an example we take the app smileys for chat (+ memes). Please download this app.

Step 2: insert the smileys into Whatsapp.

Now go to the paper clip for attaching files in Whatsapp and select "Gallery" as the source. Now you should get a selection (see screenshot) that shows the just installed emoticon app.

Step 3: Select the smiley

Now you can choose a smiley and send it via WhatsApp by clicking on "Send" in the lower right corner.
